Westerlo reject Rangers initial offer for former Roma defender
Westerlo reject Rangers initial offer for former Roma defender As reported by Sacha Tavolieri , Rangers initial offer for Bryan Reynolds of around €2.5m has been rejected by Westerlo . While the defender is said to be keen on a move to Rangers , Westerlo are not willing to sell the defender for such a small amount. The two sides have worked together on transfers in the past, with Tuur Rommens swapping Westerlo for Rangers just a few months ago. Having picked up the sides left-back, Rangers now seem keen to return to pick up the right-back. Rangers interest in Reynolds is not surprising. The American full-back has performed well for Westerlo over the past few seasons, providing an attacking outlet from right-back for the side. The 24-year-old joined Westerlo from Roma back in 2022, having spent the 2021/2022 season on loan in Belgium with Kortrijk. since then he has played almost 150 games for the side, providing them with 10 assists and five goals. Reynolds began his career with Dallas before moving to join Roma in 2021. He only played eight games for the Serie A side before ending up in Belgium. If Rangers can return with a slightly improved offer, Westerlo will likely be willing to part with Reynolds who is likely to want to leave in order to improve his chances of representing his country, having missed out on the World Cup squad.
