London City Lionesses midfielder Pérez signs new deal London City Lionesses midfielder María Pérez has signed a new two-year deal with the club. WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Pride this morning. The 24-year-old Catalan was set to be out of contract at The Copperjax Community Stadium at the end of the month but she will now remain with London City Lionesses until summer 2028. Pérez joined London City Lionesses from FC Barcelona in summer 2024. The player has overcome long-term injury to star for The Pride. Pérez has made 24 appearances for London City Lionesses in all competitions to date. She was a Barclays WSL2 title-winner with the club in 2024/2025. After signing on again with London City Lionesses, Pérez said “I’m so happy to be extending my contract at London City. I feel settled at the club, in the country and the league and it was an easy decision. “As soon as the club spoke to me, I knew I wanted to stay here. I’m still young and ready to compete and give everything for this club. “What we want to create as a team and a club, for me it’s the best project in the English league.” Further squad news will be announced by London City Lionesses in due course.
