League and cup dates change for live TV coverage

Live TV coverage, including BBC Scotland's broadcast of the Fife derby between Dunfermline Athletic and Raith Rovers, has meant a number of date changes of games in the Premier Sports Cup, Scottish Premiership and Championship. Neil Lennon's Dunfermline will play host to Dougie Imrie's visitors from Kirkcaldy in the second tier on Friday, 28 August with a 19:30 BST kick-off, live on the BBC Scotland channel. Aberdeen's Premiership match at home to Rangers will now kick off at 12 noon on Sunday, 30 August. And Falkirk's visit to Fir Park has been moved back to Sunday, 9 August (15:00) because of Motherwell's Conference League third qualifying round tie on the previous Thursday. League One champions Inverness Caledonian Thistle's visit to Hearts, Hibs entertain Championship side Partick Thistle and second-tier newcomers Stenhousemuir are at home to Motherwell. The final League Cup tie has holders St Mirren visiting Rangers at 16:00. Meanwhile, because of County's progress to the last 16, the Dingwall side's League 1 game at home to Queen of the South has been switched to Tuesday, 15 September.
