Llandudno won promotion to the Cymru Premier as champions of Cymru North [FAW] Llandudno celebrated their return to the Cymru Premier with a dramatic late victory over Flint Town United on the opening night of the 2026-27 season. The Seasiders were the only one of the four promoted clubs to win as Wales' revamped top flight began a new era. Ammanford, Cambrian United and Trefelin BGC suffered away defeats. The Cymru Premier has expanded to 16 teams with the majority of fixtures now scheduled for Friday nights in a move by the Football Association of Wales (FAW) to increase attendances.
