The 25-year-old arrives from Rouen, who finished third in France's third tier last season. Ba-Sy came through hometown club Nice's youth system and joined Gazelec Ajaccio in 2021 then Dunkerque the following year before spells in Portugal with Vizela and Academica de Coimbra and a return to France with Rouen last year. In 2025-26, he scored six goals and set up four others in 29 appearances as the Normandy club reached the promotion play-off final, losing to Stade Lavallois. "A powerhouse and technically gifted striker, Amadou has bid France adieu to become the latest of head coach Derek McInnes' summer recruits as the boys in maroon continue to gear up for a blockbuster campaign of domestic and European football," said Hearts. Ba-Sy follows defender MJ Kamson-Kamara and winger Calvin Miller in joining Scottish Premiership runners-up Hearts this summer.
