The Robins confirmed news of both deals via posts on their official club website over the last couple of days. Goalkeeper Bentley’s new deal was confirmed by the club first. The 25-year-old was already under contract at Ashton Gate, however, she has now committed her future to Bristol City until summer 2029. Bentley initially joined The Robins on loan from Manchester United in the 2021/2022 season before making the deal permanent at the end of the campaign. The player has gone on to make close to 100 appearances for Bristol City in all competitions. Midfielder Ingle’s deal was announced by Bristol City earlier today. The 34-year-old has extended her contract with the club until summer 2028. Ingle is in her second spell with Bristol City. She previously turned out for the club between 2014 and 2015 in the old Bristol Academy days. Ingle returned to the South West last summer. She started every game for The Robins in Barclays WSL2 last season, scoring four goals. The player’s quality and experience makes her one of the most important members of the squad. Further Bristol City squad news will be announced by the club in due course.
