Guernsey FC strike late to win season opener

But it was Pagham who thought they should have t had equalised in the 84th minute through Kaleem Haytham. He and his teammates felt his shot had gone over the line and struck part of the goal, but the officials ruled it had hit the post. The moment was key as the islanders went on to win the game - Fazakerley made it 2-0 in the third minute of stoppage time as he finished well after being put through. Murray headed a 97th-minute corner into the top corner to seal the win as Guernsey started the season as one of eight teams in their division to win their opening match.
