This is line with earlier reports that stated Barcelona might not enter a bidding war for the forward . That being said, the club will still try to make an effort and convince the former Man City starlet to renew his contract at Camp Nou, which expires at the end of next season. The club are clear about the player’s price-tag. His market value is currently €55 million as per Transfermarkt, and the club are looking for a similar range. This is despite the fact that Ferran’s contract comes to an end in 2027. The Blaugrana feel it is better to let him leave this summer than to see him leave Camp Nou as a free agent next summer. But any club, including PSG, approaching Ferran will have to present an offer of around €55 million to attain his services. For now, Barcelona are awaiting the return of Ferran Torres from his extended international break, after which the forward is expected to announce his decision.
