There are requests from Italy and abroad, but as of today, there’s nothing concrete.” Gazzetta had claimed on Wednesday morning that Roma were interested in Ruggeri, and the Sky Sport reporter specifically asked the defender’s agent about the links with the Giallorossi and even Juventus. “He is in a top club, and all top clubs look for strong players, but I don’t know,” Montipò said. Ruggeri joined Atléticoé Madrid from Atalanta in a €17m deal last summer. The 23-year-old has yet to make his senior Italy debut and is under contract at the Wanda Metropolitano until June 2030.
