Manchester United not pursuing move for Arsenal left-back Myles Lewis-Skelly

Manchester United not pursuing move for Arsenal left-back Myles Lewis-Skelly Manchester United are not pursuing a move for Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly, per Standard Sport .  United are in the market for a new left-back after completing the signings of Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos and Karl Darlow.  Tyrell Malacia has left on a free transfer, and Patrick Dorgu is expected to continue in a more attacking role.  Luke Shaw was impressive last season, but he has now entered the final 12 months of his contract at Old Trafford.  United want to sign a long-term replacement for Shaw. They were linked with Arsenal’s Lewis Skelly, but it emerges the Manchester giants are not pursuing a move for him.  The teenager is one of the best talents to come out of the Gunners’ academy. He is 19 but has already made 75 first-team appearances.   Lewis Skelly struggled for first-team opportunities during the opening months of the 2025-26 season, but he became increasingly important towards the end of the campaign.  The England international started five of Arsenal’s final six matches, including the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.  Man Utd’s main focus remains on signing Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall , although a deal is not expected to be easy. The 21-year-old is open to the prospect of joining the Red Devils, but Newcastle have no intention of parting ways with another key player.  The Magpies have already lost Anthony Gordon and Sandro Tonali to Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur respectively, while captain Bruno Guimaraes is on the verge of completing a move to Arsenal .  Stats from Transfermarkt
