Feyenoord prospect to find minutes elsewhere with Eredivisie loan
Feyenoord prospect to find minutes elsewhere with Eredivisie loan Feyenoord youngster Aymen Sliti is close to moving to Excelsior on loan. This follows a month of stalling in the intercity negotiations. Excelsior were close to a loan agreement with Feyenoord in July. However, at the time, the fellow Rotterdam club decided to wait a while before loaning out the 20-year-old left winger. Several clubs had reportedly tried to lure Sliti away, likely playing a part in Feyenoord’s consideration for what was the best move for their academy graduate. Yet, the Kralingen move looks like it’ll be completed imminently after the wide man agreed to terms with coach Ruben den Uil. Last season, the Netherlands U21 international made 19 appearances from the fringes in the Eredivisie, scoring one goal in the process. With the finalisation of this temporary transfer, Sliti should be available for Excelsior’s opening fixture against SC Cambuur. GBeNeFN | Max Bradfield
