Southend sign ex-Forest midfielder McAdam
Kyle McAdam spent time last season on loan at Northampton Town [Getty Images] Southend United have signed midfielder Kyle McAdam on a two-year deal after he was released by Nottingham Forest. The 21-year-old was on loan at Northampton Town during the second half of last season before he left Forest when his contract expired. He made eight appearances for the Cobblers in League One last season. "Fans can expect energy, aggression, and directness from me. I want to get forwards and involved in attacking play," McAdam told Southend's website.
