He was nervy and unreliable, and was ultimately dropped from the first team. Undeterred, it looks like the Parisians are going to bgo back into the transfer market this summer to try again to find a top stopper. The man they’ve got their eyes on right now is Zion Suzuki from Parma. Fresh off a good World Cup with Japan, he appears to be the Champions League holders’ top option. PSG “ahead” of rivals in race for new goalkeeper Fabrizio Romano says that negotiations will continue this week following an initial €33m offer for the goalkeeper. Suzuki is “open to the move,” and PSG are said to be “ahead of the other clubs interested.” The 23 year old has looked great in Serie A, and is ready for a move to a Champions League team to test himself at the highest level. Let’s just hope this one works out better than the move for Chevalier – whose future is now very uncertain. In other news… PSG are now in “official” talks with Liverpool over the potential deal for Bradley Barcola – although there’s no sign they’re anywhere close to a deal.
