The players in question are Ruben Dias, Mateus Fernandes and Matheus Nunes, all three represented by Mendes’ agency. However, it must be noted that none of these three players is currently a free agent and Real Madrid would have to spend a fortune to sign them. Useful additions to Real Madrid? Ruben Dias is arguably the most high-profile name on the list. The Manchester City centre-back is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in the world. Mateus Fernandes, as previously reported, is already understood to be Jose Mourinho’s preferred midfield target . The West Ham midfielder has attracted interest from Arsenal and Manchester United as well, with the English club demanding in excess of €90 million for his services. Matheus Nunes, currently at Manchester City, is a versatile operator who can operate as a right-back as well, thus providing depth in both midfield and defence.
