Defender Daland joins Norwegian side Viking on loan
[Huw Evans Picture Agency] Cardiff City defender Jesper Daland has joined Norwegian side Viking FK on loan until the end of January 2027. The centre back, 26, returns to his native country having spent last season on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf, who were relegated to the German third tier. Daland has made 23 competitive appearances for the Bluebirds since joining the club from Belgian team Cercle Brugge KSV in 2024. His loan at Viking is until 31 January.
