Jesse Bisiwu: Everything you need to know about Barcelona’s newest wonderkid Barcelona have made three eye-catching signings this summer transfer window, but none more intriguing than Jesse Bisiwu. The 18-year-old Belgian winger has arrived from Club Brugge for an initial fee of around €8.5 million , signing a five-year contract until 2031. While the plan is for him to feature regularly for Barça Atletic, he will also train with Hansi Flick’s first team from day one, highlighting how highly the club rate his potential. So, who exactly is Jesse Bisiwu, and why have Barcelona invested in him? A rapid rise in Belgium Born in Belgium to Ghanaian roots, Bisiwu joined Club Brugge from Oud-Heverlee Leuven in 2020 and quickly established himself as one of the country’s brightest attacking prospects.
