He is the Teranga Lions’ youngest-ever goalscorer at the Africa Cup of Nations and the youngest African goalscorer in FIFA World Cup history. The Senegalese is right-footed, but primarily plays on the right flank and can also operate on the left wing. He is renowned for his explosive pace, excellent dribbling, composure, movement and high work rate. Mbaye has struggled to secure regular playing time at PSG, and he is open to leaving the club this summer. Liverpool could be the perfect destination for Mbaye, with the Reds looking to sign a right winger following Mohamed Salah’s departure.
