Centre back Noham Kamara has turned his loan from PSG to Lyon into a permanent deal, it has been announced today. The defender moved at the end of the January transfer window and made a couple of appearances in the league for Lyon in the second half of the season. But they clearly see the 19 year old’s potential, and have decided to bring him in for the long term. PSG cash in on another superb academy youngster According to Fabrice Hawkins from RMC Sport , the permanent clause that Lyon have activated is worth €4m up front, with a potential €2m further in bonuses to come. So it’s hardly a game changer for PSG – but it’s yet more pure profit from their superb academy. When he made the loan move back in January, Kamara was being linked to a number of European clubs, including Bayer Leverkusen. He’s clearly highly rated, and Lyon will be the perfect place to continue his development. In other news… Jorge Mendes has made it very clear that neither of his two brilliant midfielders at PSG will be going anywhere this summer. Ibrahim Mbaye has been linked with Premier League teams including Aston Villa, but we really can’t see the club accepting. If he’s willing to stay, we think he will.
