Reece Welch had loan spells with Forest Green and Belgian side Deinze during his time at Everton [Getty Images] Bradford City have signed former Everton defender Reece Welch on a two-year deal after a successful trial. The 6ft 6in 22-year-old came through the Toffees' academy and made three first-team appearances before being released at the end of last season. He could make his competitive debut for the Bantams in Saturday's Carabao Cup first-round tie against Rochdale. "We believe he has the potential to be a top player, and we will work hard with him to fulfil it," boss Graham Alexander told the club website.
