Real Madrid close to reaching agreement with RB Leipzig for Yan Diomande Real Madrid are close to reaching an agreement with RB Leipzig for the signing of Yan Diomande, per The Athletic .  The Spanish giants had a bid rejected by Leipzig, but they returned with an improved offer worth €120 million.  Per Sky reporter Patrick Berger , negotiations between the two clubs are now in final stages and the transfer fee is expected to be between €130m and €140m.  Diomande has attracted attention of some of the biggest European clubs after his impressive 2025-26 campaign at Leipzig.  He bagged 13 goals and 10 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions last season.  Diomande also represented Ivory Coast at the World Cup, starting all four games and assisting a goal.  His impressive performances put him on the radar of Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.  Diomande previously indicated a preference to join PSG , but they have withdrawn from negotiations.  The Ligue 1 giants are not prepared to meet Leipzig’s huge valuation or the player’s salary demands.  Madrid are now leading the race to sign the 19-year-old, who is highly rated for his blistering pace, dribbling skills and versatility across the frontline.  Los Blancos are in the market for an elite forward.
