PSG set sights on signing £75m-rated Chelsea star
PSG set sights on signing £75m-rated Chelsea star Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing a move for Chelsea star Malo Gusto, per The Sun . Achraf Hakimi was the club’s first-choice right-back last season, but they want to sign Gusto to provide genuine competition for the Morocco international. Manager Luis Enrique has given the green light for a potential move, but a transfer is not expected to be easy. The 23-year-old’s contract at Stamford Bridge will not expire until 2030. The Premier League club are demanding a £75 million fee to sanction his departure. Gusto has been an important player for Chelsea since joining them from Lyon in 2023. He has made 134 appearances across all competitions, bagging three goals and 17 assists in the process. Gusto featured in 34 Premier League games last term, but he could struggle for opportunities next season. Chelsea already have Reece James on their books, and they have added Marco Palestra from Atalanta for a £47m fee earlier this summer. With the Blues needing to offload players to comply with the financial rules, Gusto could be sold before the end of the transfer window . Chelsea have been busy in the transfer market once again. They paid a £117m fee to sign Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa. Maxence Lacroix has arrived from Crystal Palace in a deal worth £52m. With new manager Xabi Alonso keen to add experienced players, Chelsea have also completed a double swoop for Danny Welbeck and Jordan Henderson. Stats from Transfermarkt
