Isidor wants to 'establish himself' in the Premier League

Speculation has surrounded Wilson Isidor's future at Sunderland since last season. West Ham have shown interest in the forward , but BBC Radio Newcastle's Nick Barnes believes the prospect of playing in the Championship is not a move Isidor would consider. "Le Bris didn't want to see Isidor go, and the club have been very firm in that. He has been linked with West Ham, but it is looking clear that he is not going to go to the London Stadium." During Sunderland's pre-season tour of the United States, the 25-year-old said he is aiming to improve his tally of six goals scored last campaign. "I want to score more, but the Premier League is different. The biggest league in the world. The best players, the best stadiums and the best fans," said Isidor. Last season, he featured in 35 games in all competitions for the Wearside club, but Barnes said fans questioned his heart during games. "Some people felt last season when he came on he didn't look wholeheartedly in it, but his attitude off the pitch is good. The fans love him and he loves the fans. "He talks all about the Premier League, so even to entertain a move to West Ham is not on the horizon as he wants to establish himself as a Premier League player."
