Rangers initiate talks with PSV for Couhaib Driouech
Rangers initiate talks with PSV for Couhaib Driouech Rangers have reportedly initiated talks with PSV for Moroccan winger Couhaib Driouech. The 24-year-old Driouech was absent last Sunday in the Johan Cruyff Shield defeat to AZ Alkmaar due to injury. Nonetheless, his exclusion undoubtedly helped fuel the transfer rumour mill, especially with the Scottish giants already interested. Sources close to Voetbal International have confirmed that PSV and Rangers are now formally negotiating a transfer and that both parties intend to reach an agreement. Driouech himself is also open to a move to Scotland, where a long-term contract looks to be on offer. Driouech joined PSV from Excelsior in the summer of 2024, yet ultimately failed to establish himself as a regular starter in Eindhoven. Driouech’s best moments came on the continent, as he made an impact in the Champions League with a brace against Liverpool and a goal against Napoli. Red Bull Salzburg were reportedly another interested club. However, it looks like the Glaswegians are in pole position. GBeNeFN | Max Bradfield
