Strasbourg set sights on Nice’s Kojo Oppong RC Strasbourg Alsace are reported to have made enquiries about OGC Nice’s Kojo Oppong (22), according to L’Équipe . Following the collapse of the transfer for Ibrahima Ba (21), who signed for Sporting CP after failing his medical, the Alsatian club is continuing its search for defensive reinforcements, whilst Ismaël Doukouré (23) could himself be set to leave in the coming weeks. Regarded as one of Nice’s few bright spots last season, Oppong is also on the radar of Turkish club Trabzonspor, who have made him their top target. OGCN, looking to boost their coffers, could thus receive a tidy sum for the Ghanaian, who is under contract with the Aiglons until 2029. Still relatively unknown to the general public when he arrived from Swedish club IFK Norrköping last summer, Oppong made a superb debut in Ligue 1, making 43 appearances in all competitions, including 29 in the league – 28 of which were as a starter.
