'I'm in awe' - Liverpool unveil Rush exhibition

Liverpool have unveiled a new exhibition at Anfield dedicated to the club's all-time record goalscorer Ian Rush - a tribute which the 65-year-old says is "absolutely amazing". The 'All You Need Is Rush' exhibition traces his journey to becoming a legendary number nine, who scored 346 goals in 660 appearances for the Reds. The items on show include all 16 of his Liverpool hat-trick match balls, three match-worn FA Cup final jerseys and his two European Golden Boots. "I never thought anything like this would happen for me," Rush told BBC Radio Merseyside. "But it is bringing back many memories. I'm in awe to tell you the truth. "I just gave the club all of my stuff, some of which was in bin bags or in my loft. I got my son to get everything out and get it cleaned up, and it turned into this which is absolutely amazing. "I get very emotional seeing all of this, it brings back so many memories. I'm not getting any younger now, so it is nice to see the whole collection."
