So today is a good day – Maghnes Akliouche’s move from Monaco for around €50m has been completed. It looks set to be first of a few deals that will be done in the final weeks of the window as PSG top up their squad following the departures of several attackers. Akliouche delighted to come back home Akliouche has proved himself as a quality player in Ligue 1, and has looked ready for the step up to the first team. He slots into the recently departed Kang-in Lee’s role in the squad: a versatile attacker who won’t be in the first choice front thee, but will get plenty of minutes through rest and rotation of the others. “Signing for Paris Saint-Germain is an immense source of pride,” Akliouche said to the PSG official website after signing a deal until 2031. “Having grown up in the Paris region, joining such a prestigious club means so much to me and my family.” In other news… Maghnes Akliouche is already in Paris and working on completing his move to PSG, Fabrizio Romano has reported today. Malo Gusto continues to be linked with a PSG move, but the massive asking price Chelsea have in mind is making a deal look impossible right now.
