Woking sign QPR defender Putman on loan
Woking have signed defender Jaiden Putman on a short-term youth loan from Championship side Queens Park Rangers. The 19-year-old made his first-team debut for QPR in the EFL Cup against Plymouth Argyle in August 2025. He then went on loan to National League South Bath City, where he made 25 appearances in the second half of last season. Putman told Woking's website: "As soon as I spoke to the coaching staff, it was clear this was the right place for me to continue my development. "Hopefully I can make a positive impact and repay the faith the club has shown in me." Cards director of football Jody Brown added: "We have a couple short-term injured, so we've taken the decision to add Jaiden on a short-term loan. "He's trained with Craig (Ross, joint interim manager) and the staff this week, which is of great advantage. They're confident that he's able to step in and add quality to the group."
