Arsenal tempted to re-enter race to sign PSG’s Bradley Barcola following Vinicius Jr setback

Arsenal tempted to re-enter race to sign PSG’s Bradley Barcola following Vinicius Jr setback By snatching Vinícius Jr (26) from Real Madrid, Arsenal had hoped to make their mark on the 2026 summer transfer window. But their attempt to lure the Brazilian superstar into their ranks ultimately failed following the announcement that he had extended his contract with Los Merengues until 2032. This setback has not, however, stopped the Gunners’ management from continuing their search for a talent to strengthen their left-wing position. Among the names being mentioned most frequently is that of Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola (23), according to reports in The Independent . However, given the ground they have lost to Liverpool, negotiations are likely to prove particularly complicated for the London club, which could also struggle to meet the Rouge et Bleu management’s €150m valuation of their winger. Whilst this avenue has not yet been ruled out, other alternatives are also being considered. First and foremost is Julián Alvarez (26), who is particularly favoured by the Gunners’ board, but whose future appears to lie in Spain. The other player who could well be the subject of concrete interest from Arsenal in the coming days is Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye (26), who was himself reported to be set to join a Saudi Arabian club earlier this summer.
