Arsenal eye three alternatives after missing out on Vinicius Junior

Arsenal eye three alternatives after missing out on Vinicius Junior Arsenal’s dream of signing Vinicius Junior is over after he agreed a new six-year contract with Real Madrid.  The Gunners made a serious bid to sign the 26-year-old and were close to agreeing personal terms.  But the Brazilian ultimately decided to extend his stay in Madrid by penning a long-term contract.  According to the Independent , Arsenal still plan to add a quality left winger and have three names on their shortlist.  Manager Mikel Arteta is a huge admirer of Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez.  Barcelona are also strong contenders for Alvarez, although Atletico have made it clear they have no intention of parting ways with the Argentine.  Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola is another option for Arsenal.  Barcola’s contract at Parc des Princes will expire in 2028, but he is refusing to sign a new deal.  Liverpool are also chasing a move for the Frenchman.  The Reds are set to launch a €115m bid to PSG, who reportedly value their prized talent at €150m.  Arsenal are also considering Everton star Iliman Ndiaye.  Ndiaye scored six goals and three assists last season.  He then earned his name on the scoresheet for Senegal in the World Cup group game against Iraq.  A move for the 26-year-old will not come cheaply. With the Senegal international under contract until 2029, Everton could demand a premium fee to sanction a sale this summer.
