Reds, Blues and Glens win in Women's Premiership
Cliftonville were the 8-0 victors over Larne 8-0 at the Larne Academy of Sport to remain at the top of the Women's Premiership table. Toni-Leigh Finnegan, Teegan Lynch, Aoibhe O'Neill and Charlotte Havern all netted in the first half to give the away side a comfortable lead. The Reds continued to push in the second half with Kirsty McGuinness, Louise McDaniel, Vicky Carleton and Lydia Thompson secured the three points. Cliftonville remain five points clear at the top of the table, while the Inver Reds are still bottom. Elsewhere, Linfield continued their positive run with a 6-1 victory over Lisburn Ladies. Two goals from Eve Reilly, Cora Chamber's hat-trick and Sophie McKnight's strike gave the Blues a big advantage before Mea Mezza netted a consolation goal. At the Blanchflower Stadium, Glentoran bounced back from their disappointing defeat against Cliftonville with a 5-1 victory over Crusaders. The Glens made a bright start with Jess Foy and Naoimi McLaughlin both scoring in the opening six minutes. Naomi McLaughlin then registered her first goal for the east Belfast side before Nadene Caldwell, Mia Moore and Naomi McLaughlin all found the back of the net.
