Rennes’ Djaoui Cissé a target for Stuttgart

Rennes’ Djaoui Cissé a target for Stuttgart Stade Rennais midfielder Djaoui Cissé (22) is a target for Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart, as per a report from  Foot Mercato . Last season, France youth international Cissé played 25 games in all competitions, but he failed to register any goal contributions and started only 12 times in Ligue 1. His last start in the league came back in January and he didn’t feature at all in five of  Les Rennais’  last nine games of the league season; seemingly, he is not as central to the project as he was under Habib Beye. It must be noted that the midfielder also had to contend with minor injury issues over the course of the campaign. Cissé remains a highly-rated prospect, as evidenced by Stuttgart’s interest. The German club’s interest is described as strong. Following a fourth-place finish in the Bundesliga last season, Stuttgart will play in the UEFA Champions League next season.  GFFN | Luke Entwistle
