Details and numbers as Romelu Lukaku nears Fenerbahce transfer
Details and numbers as Romelu Lukaku nears Fenerbahce transfer Serie A side Napoli are nearing the sale of Romelu Lukaku, with Turkish giants Fenerbahce closing in on a transfer. The Belgian was at odds with the Naples club towards the end of the campaign and soon, it became clear he wasn’t going to be part of their plans, even if Max Allegri came in as a replacement for Antonio Conte. Tuttomercatoweb report that the Belgian has given an approval to joining Fenerbahce. He has reached an agreement over personal terms worth €10 million per season. After the striker responded positively, it is Napoli’s demands that are simply delaying the transfer. They want €12 million which can be paid in a maximum of two installments, with Fenerbahce only offering €8 million so far. Fener want to quickly find an agreement and there are not expected to be too many hassles, once Napoli give their approval to the deal. Napoli right to demand high When Napoli signed Lukaku permanently from Chelsea, they paid the Blues €30 million to sign him. Chelsea also hold a 40% resale value and that is probably why the Partenopei do not want to lower their demands. Since Lukaku won the Serie A with them not too long ago though, their stance does make sense. They would also not want to incur a major capital loss and Fenerbahce may have to definitely pay more soon. Kaustubh Pandey – GIFN
