Villarreal interested in Nice’s Hicham Boudaoui

Villarreal interested in Nice’s Hicham Boudaoui Villarreal CF are reportedly interested in signing OGC Nice’s Hicham Boudaoui (26), according to Foot Mercato . Looking to strengthen their midfield, the Spanish club are said to have made enquiries about the Algerian international, who has 34 caps. Under contract with Les Aiglons until June 2027, the Béchar-born player is valued at around €10m. At 26, Boudaoui finds himself at a turning point in his career this summer. Having joined Nice from Paradou AC in 2019, the midfielder has gradually established himself as a key member of the Côte d’Azur side’s squad. Whilst he has not always been a guaranteed starter and has suffered numerous niggles since arriving in France, the right-footed player remains a reliable asset in the league. Having made 32 appearances across all competitions last season, he contributed one goal and two assists.  This summer, he played in the World Cup for the Fennecs, featuring in three matches.
