AC Milan’s Zachary Athekame set to join Lyon AC Milan’s Zachary Athekame (21) is reportedly set to join Olympique Lyonnais, according to information from RMC Sport . A deal in the form of a loan without an option to buy is said to have been agreed between the two clubs. The deal is a significant coup for Les Gones , whose management successfully persuaded the Swiss player to join them, despite him being courted by several other clubs. His arrival is expected to coincide with the departure of Ainsley Maitland-Niles (28). Having joined AC Milan from Young Boys for a fee of around €10m last summer, the right-back made 29 appearances (scoring two goals and providing two assists) for the Rossoneri during the 2025-26 season, but started only seven of them.
