Barcelona defender has offers from Premier League clubs – report Jules Kounde’s future at Barcelona has taken another interesting turn after Gerard Romero revealed that the French defender has several offers from clubs in the Premier League. It is important to note that Barcelona are not actively looking to sell Kounde this summer, but the situation is not completely closed either.  The Catalan club is prepared to listen if a proposal arrives that matches their valuation, leaving the final decision partly in the hands of the player. Kounde has been an important part of Barcelona’s plans since arriving from Sevilla, but his situation has attracted attention throughout the transfer window.  Now, with Premier League interest emerging, his future could become one of the stories to follow in the coming weeks. What is known is that Barcelona are not actively putting the defender on the transfer market, although the club would not stand in his way if he decides that a move is the right option and a suitable offer arrives. The Blaugrana are believed to value Kounde at around €50-60 million . That figure reflects both his quality and his importance to the squad, while also giving Barcelona a clear idea of what would make them seriously consider his departure. On that note, Bayern Munich were previously linked with Kounde, but the German champions were unwilling to meet Barcelona’s valuation, with their own assessment of the defender said to be closer to €40 million. Premier League interest puts Kounde in focus Back in England, Tottenham have been mentioned as one club monitoring Kounde’s situation, with reports suggesting that they could consider making an approach if the right opportunity emerges. There were also claims that Tottenham were preparing a €65 million offer for the Barcelona defender, although those reports were subsequently refuted . At this stage, there is no specific Premier League club that has been definitively identified as having made an offer for Kounde.  What has changed, according to Romero’s revelation, is that the defender has proposals from England and must now decide whether he wants to consider leaving Barcelona.
