Abu Kamara spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Portsmouth [Portsmouth FC] Portsmouth have completed the signing of Hull City winger Abu Kamara for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old renews links with John Mousinho and Pompey, having spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Fratton Park and helping the club win the League One title. Kamara has signed a three-year-deal and is the seventh signing of the summer. Blues boss John Mousinho said: "We're thrilled to have Abu back at Pompey – it's no secret that we've wanted him to return for some time. "I don't need to tell you all about what he can offer the side, as you already saw it during that memorable season when he was here on loan. "Abu returns a more experienced player, with Championship and top-flight Spanish appearances under his belt. "Now we're looking forward to seeing what he can do at this level in a Pompey shirt and I'm excited to start working with him again." Following his loan spell at Portsmouth, Kamara signed for Hull where he made 40 appearances, but spent last season on loan at Spanish side Getafe. During his last spell at Fratton Park, Kamara scored 10 goals in 52 appearances as well as providing 11 assists.
