Real Madrid have three more signings planned after a busy summer transfer window – report

Real Madrid have three more signings planned after a busy summer transfer window – report Real Madrid could still have plenty of work to do in the transfer market despite already completing six signings this summer, with journalist Juanma Rodriguez claiming that the club are planning three more additions. The Spanish giants have already moved aggressively to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.  Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries were brought in before the World Cup, while Carlos Espi and Yan Diomande have since joined the first-team setup . However, according to Rodriguez (as relayed in Defensa Central ), Real Madrid are not finished yet. The club is still preparing to make three further signings, with a centre-back and a midfielder among the positions being targeted. Real Madrid planning three more signings Speaking about Real Madrid’s transfer plans, Rodriguez revealed that further activity should be expected before the window closes. “There will be more moves, from what I’m told. I understand there will be three signings. One of them is a centre-back and another a midfielder.  “I mean, beyond what has already been signed,” Rodriguez stated. The club has already added considerable experience and quality to the squad, but Mourinho wants further reinforcements in key areas. A new centre-back is one of the main priorities. The need has become even clearer with the Portuguese manager looking for greater depth and another defender capable of competing for a starting position. The midfield is another area where Real Madrid could make an addition.  Mourinho wants a positional midfielder who can provide greater balance and protection in front of the defence. That profile has been one of the manager’s priorities since he arrived at Valdebebas. So what now? Real Madrid’s transfer strategy has been closely linked to Mourinho’s demands. On that note, Alessandro Bastoni is one of the defenders most closely associated with his plans .  The Italian is understood to be one of the manager’s preferred targets, although his arrival would depend on Raul Asencio leaving Real Madrid first. Asencio is not part of Mourinho’s plans , creating a potential chain of events in the centre-back department. The midfield situation is similarly open. Real Madrid are monitoring several options, including Adam Wharton and Kees Smit, as they look for the right profile to strengthen the position. Whether any of those names become the final additions remains uncertain, but the club’s search for another midfielder is clearly active.
