Inter left waiting for Al-Ittihad to resolve split-decision on Diaby Inter remain in talks with Al-Ittihad over a potential deal for right winger Moussa Diaby, but the Saudi Pro League side are currently undecided as to whether or not they should sanction the sale of the Frenchman according to the latest reports. Al-Ittihad undecided on whether or not to sell Diaby to Inter Inter are searching for a replacement for Denzel Dumfries, who left the Nerazzurri to join Real Madrid earlier this summer. Cristian Chivu’s side have made attempts for several players to fill their void at right wing-back, including unsuccessful bids for Marco Palestra and Anan Khalaili. Their focus has since shifted to Diaby, who had also been linked with a move to San Siro during the January transfer window. Diaby’s former club Bayer Leverkusen are also said to be keen on the Frenchman if he is available this summer. Reports over the weekend claimed that Leverkusen were willing to offer a fee just shy of €30m, while Inter were willing to hand over €20m plus midfielder Kristjan Asllani. However, according to the latest updates from Gianluigi Longari of SportItalia, Al-Ittihad are at a split-decision over the winger. This has been described as an internal rift in Monday’s report. It is expected that Al-Ittihad will review the matter in the near future, but that is unlikely to happen before the team’s AFC Champions League qualifier against Al Jazira on Tuesday evening.
