The agreement includes an option to sign the 22-year-old on a permanent deal. Manager Nathan Jones told Charlton's official website : "Timothy is a player that we've monitored for a long, long time, and he comes with a real good pedigree. "He's an athletic, technical midfield player who has had some good experience, and he'll add real quality to our midfield." Ouma began his career in his native Kenya with Nairobi City Stars before joining Swedish top-flight side IF Elfsborg in the summer of 2022. After three seasons in Sweden, which included 13 Europa League appearances, he joined Slavia Prague and spent last season on loan in Poland with Lech Poznan, lifting the league title. Ouma is the Addicks' seventh signing of the summer transfer window following the acquisitions of defenders Ivan Mesik , Billy Koumetio and Danny McNamara , midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah , winger Millenic Alli and striker Karlan Grant .
