Vlahovic on the verge of Besiktas deal at €8m per season with major signing bonus The latest reports in Italy claim that Dusan Vlahovic is on the verge of reaching a full agreement to join Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas after leaving Juventus as a free agent at the end of his contract on June 30. Report: Vlahovic nearing Besiktas agreement at €8m per season Vlahovic has been available as a free agent since the start of July after running down his contract with Juventus. The Serbia international, who joined Juve at a cost of  €70m plus bonuses, was the highest-paid player in Serie A on the final year of his contract and despite the fact that Juventus had attempted to negotiate a renewal on reduced wages for much of the last year, an agreement over an extension never materialised. Vlahovic has been taking his time to evaluate potential offers, with reports that he is keen to remain in Europe at the age of 26, but as things stand, the only concrete interest has reportedly come from Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Vlahovic’s former Fiorentina head coach Vincenzo Italiano has recently taken over as head coach of Besiktas and has been pushing for a reunion with the Serbian this summer. The Corriere dello Sport front page and various other reports in Italy claim that Vlahovic has agreed to sign a deal worth €8m per season in guaranteed wages, not including bonuses. It has also been suggested that the free agent will receive a significant signing bonus, potentially in the region of €20m. Vlahovic had received a net salary of around €12m on the final year of his contract with Juventus in 2025-26.
