Rotherham sign goalkeeper Eyestone on loan
Rotherham have signed 6ft 6ins Brentford goalkeeper Julian Eyestone on a season-long loan. The 20-year-old Texan is a US youth international and trained with the senior squad during their World Cup campaign earlier this summer. Eyestone joined Brentford in 2024 and was on the bench for their third round FA Cup tie against Sheffield Wednesday in January. He previously helped their Under-21s reach the final of the Premier League Cup before being promoted to the first team squad a year ago. Eyestone will compete with Ted Cann for the number one spot as the Millers seek to bounce back from relegation to League Two at the first time of asking.
