Bristol City sign Palace defender Cardines on loan
Rio Cardines has 11 senior caps for Trinidad and Tobago [Getty Images] Bristol City have signed Crystal Palace defender Rio Cardines on a season-long loan. The 20-year-old can play at full-back or wing-back and becomes the Robins' ninth signing of the summer. Cardines came through the Arsenal academy before joining Palace at Under-16 level and made his Premier League debut against Arsenal last season. The Trinidad and Tobago international was part of the Palace squad that won the Uefa Conference League last season.
