Rogers trains with Chelsea for first time
[Getty Images] Chelsea's club-record £117m signing Morgan Rogers has trained at Cobham for the first time since his move from Aston Villa. The forward was part of a group of players returning from the World Cup to begin pre-season training following a holiday. Rogers joined fellow new signings Jordan Henderson, Maxence Lacroix and Valentin Barco. Meanwhile, Enzo Fernandez, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City, was also among the group, along with Reece James and Malo Gusto. Striker Emmanuel Emegha was also pictured as he nears a return from the hamstring injury he sustained while scoring in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Bromley before the club's tour of Australia and Asia. It leaves manager Xabi Alonso with a full squad for Saturday's friendly against Real Sociedad before Chelsea begin their Premier League campaign away at Fulham on 24 August.
