Official: Lukaku completes move from Napoli to Fenerbahce for €6m plus bonus Romelu Lukaku has officially been sold to Fenerbahce by Napoli for a reported cost of €6m plus add-ons, flying out this evening to Istanbul. The deal had been done earlier this week and it is reported he underwent medical tests in Belgium, which is where he remained following the 2026 World Cup campaign. He is therefore flying directly to Istanbul from Brussels, without going back to Italy or Naples. Lukaku joined Napoli from Chelsea in the summer of 2024 and scored on his debut, going on to net 14 goals in 45 competitive games, winning the Serie A title and Supercoppa Italiana. As part of the €30.7m move from Chelsea in 2024, Napoli owe the Blues circa 40 per cent of the future sale fee. He struggled to get much playing time last season due to a serious muscular tear in a summer friendly, which also affected his form going into the World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico with Belgium.
