Done Deal: Romero ready for Parma in €7m agreement with Tigre Tigre striker David Romero is already flying out to Italy and will undergo his Parma medical on Thursday, reportedly for a deal worth €7m plus bonus. The 23-year-old Argentine is a centre-forward who had also been linked with clubs including Cagliari in Serie A, Sevilla in Spain, plus Boca Juniors, Palmeiras, Flamengo and the San Jose Earthquakes. Argentine transfer pundit Cesar Luis Merlo even published a selfie that Romero took when on the plane, which is expected to land in Italy late tonight. He should therefore be able to undergo his medical tests on Thursday before signing the contract to June 2031. This news comes off the back of Parma agreeing the sale of Mateo Pellegrino to Fiorentina , on loan with obligation to buy for €25m. A product of the Talleres youth academy, Romero joined Tigre initially on loan in 2025, making the move permanent in January 2026 for €2.15m. This season, Romero has scored 11 goals in 19 games, along with two assists for his teammates.
