Dundee United sign midfielder Yoro on loan

Midfielder Abdoulaye Yoro has joined Dundee United from Istanbul Basaksehir on a season-long loan. The 19-year-old from the Ivory Coast was previously loaned to Dinamo Tbilisi and attended United's 4-0 defeat by Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday. At Tbilisi, Yoro scored seven goals in 30 appearances. "He's an exciting young player with a lot of potential and a deal we've worked hard to pull off," manager Jim Goodwin told club media. "He had a really successful season in Georgia last year, gaining valuable experience of regular senior football and showing his ability in the final third on a regular basis. "He's technically very good, energetic and has a real hunger to improve. We believe Dundee United is a great environment for him to continue his development and test himself in the Scottish Premiership. "He gives us another option in midfield and I'm looking forward to working with him." And Yoro added: "I can't wait to play in front of all the fans.
