Napoli aiming to lower Chelsea’s asking price for Benoît Badiashile Napoli are negotiating with Chelsea over a deal for Benoît Badiashile (25), with the Italian side looking to finalise an initial loan move for the French defender. According to Sky Sports , the Naples outfit want the agreement to include an option to buy Badiashile permanently at the end of the loan spell. The Serie A side value the 25-year-old at around €20m and are prepared to pay a €3m loan fee as part of the proposed deal. The Blues, however, place a significantly higher valuation on the centre-back, valuing him at around €30m. Negotiations between the two clubs remain ongoing, with no definitive agreement reached at this stage. Badiashile to leave Chelsea after difficult spell The 25-year-old joined Chelsea from Monaco in January 2023 and has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter at Stamford Bridge.
