Standard Liege set to sign Cameroonian international from Sturm Graz
Standard Liege set to sign Cameroonian international from Sturm Graz Sudinfo are reporting that Standard Liege are set to make their eighth signing of the summer. Ryan Fosso, the 24-year-old central midfielder as Sturm Graz, is set to sign a three year contract with Standard Liege. The Cameroonian international is set to leave Sturm Graz after just a few months with the club. Fosso began his senior career with FC Vaduz in Switzerland, having been part of the Young Boys set up before then. Eligible to play for both Switzerland and Cameroon, the midfielder decided to represent the African side after being part of the Swiss youth set up. During his time with Vaduz, Fosso played 72 games and scored five goals. In the summer of 2024 he left Switzerland for the Eredivisie, joining Fortuna Sittard. Fosso played two seasons in the Netherlands, scoring one goal. In January of last year he left Fortuna Sittard and joined Sturm Graz. In the six months left in the season he played 14 games and scored once. Sturm Graz have already begun their season with European qualification and the Austrian Bundesliga underway. Fosso has played six games, scoring once. Standard Liege had been keen to add another more defensively minded central midfielder and Fosso looks a good bet to fit the bill. GBeNeFN | Ben Jackson
