Done Deal: Badiashile ready for Napoli on loan with €27m option to buy from Chelsea Multiple sources claim Napoli have agreed a deal with Chelsea for Benoit Badiashile, on loan for up to €4m with an option to buy for a further €27m. The same figures are confirmed by Footmercato and Fabrizio Romano , namely that the loan is for €3m plus up to a further €1m in performance-related bonuses. There was also the matter of whether or not to include an obligation if certain conditions were met. This €27m is significantly higher than the €18-20m offer that Napoli had originally made , but it might’ve been higher because the obligation was removed. It is also entirely possible this €27m figure includes various add-ons and bonuses. Badiashile is 25 years old and came up through the AS Monaco academy, until his sale to Chelsea for €38m in January 2023. He has two senior caps for France, but struggled for regular playing time at Stamford Bridge.
