An elegant midfielder looks to be on his way out of Manchester City

An elegant midfielder looks to be on his way out of Manchester City The future of Tijjani Reijnders looks to have been resolved in a speedy fashion . Earlier today, it was reported by David Ornstein for The Athletic that Al Qadsiah and Manchester City were in advanced talks over a deal that would send Reijnders to Saudi Arabia. Those talks have now progressed and Reijnders will sign for Al Qadsiah, and City will pocket a tidy profit on the Dutch international and also look to strengthen their midfield in the transfer market. Tijjani Reijnders has quickly agreed to sign for Al Qadsiah. Fabrizio Romano has reported that Tijjani Reijnders has given his approval to move to Saudi Arabian club Al Qadsiah. Furthermore, Romano reports that City will receive €61 million (£52.1 million) for the elegant midfielder. It is also reported that the clubs have exchanged the appropriate documents and Tijjani Reijnders didn’t train with his City teammates today as the final touches were put on his move to Al Qadsiah. Manchester City will be thrilled to have made a profit on Tijjani Reijnders. Unfortunately, Tijjani Reijnders didn’t come along as a player for Manchester City. His Premier League debut against Wolves last season gave the impression that Reijnders would be a crucial player for Pep Guardiola’s side. However, that wasn’t what occurred. Reijnders struggled to adapt to the physical nature of the Premier League and by the end of last season, Reijnders was on the periphery of Pep Guardiola’s squad. A summer transfer is probably the best move for Reijnders and he will be rewarded handsomely financially by signing for Al Qadsiah. Manchester City will be thrilled to have made a tiny profit on Tijjani Reijnders. Reijnders was brought by City from AC Milan for £46.5 million. He will be sold for £52.1 million. That is shrewd business by City and they will now move onto signing a replacement for Reijnders in Enzo Maresca’s squad. That will be one piece of business that City will focus on, on top of signing another winger or attacking player. Tijjani Reijnders is set to complete a £52.1 million move to Al Qadsiah. It is a shame that Reijnders didn’t solidify himself as a Manchester City player. However, City will make a profit on him and Reijnders gets his summer move. That is the best ending for all parties concerned.
